On February 6, 2017 local time, China Merchants Group President Li Xiaopeng met in Hong Kong with Li Qingping, Chairman of China Citic Bank, exchanging ideas about the promising cooperation areas. CMG CFO Fu Gangfeng, Executive Vice President Wang Hong and Assistant President Hong Xiaoyuan attended the meeting.

Li Xiaopeng welcomed Li Qingping's visit and congratulated the outstanding performance of China Citic Bank in 2016. He gave introduction about CMG's offshore engineering, shipping, port, trade, toll road, city development and park operation business separately. Li then shared main indicators with Li Qingping, namely revenue reaching to 505.3 billion yuan with 81.7% increase, profits hitting 111.28 billion yuan with 34% growth.
