On February 8, 2017 local time, China Merchants Group President Li Xiaopeng met in Hong Kong with Jiang Xianzhou, CCB (Asia)'s Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer,and Hu Zhanghong, CEO of CCB International (Holdings), deeply discussing the fusion between finance and industry. CMG CFO Fu Gangfeng and Assistant President Hong Xiaoyuan attended the meeting.

Li Xiaopeng first welcomed the visit of Jiang Xianzhou and Hu Zhanghong and said improvements have been achieved in traditional debt and other financial services after the cooperation agreement singing in last year. He then gave the detailed introduction about main business sectors, namely ports, energy shipping, toll roads, real estate, logistics and finance. Jiang Xianzhou said CCB's profits grew by 1.6% and CCB(Asia)'s profit increased by 17% in 2016. He showed the willingness to work with CMG in a larger scale.
