During April 30 to May 2, 2017 local time, Chairman Li Jianhong brough China Merchants Group Delegation to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem to research on its innovation industry, namely Emerge Fund, Google Research Centre, Mobileye, Freightos. They also witnessed the unveiling ceremony of China Merchants Technology＆Innovation Development and Research Center Overseas Office (Israel).

Li Jianhong pointed out China Merchants Group promoted innovation-leading strategy in the recent years, bridging links with international innovation centers, particularly on the Israel state-of-the-art technologies. "The barren natural resources don't stultify Israel development because of its innovation power and quality human resources. Its innovative culture shed lights on our future plan."said Li. The cooperation with Emerge Fund saw the beginning of the investment on Israel high-technology industries.
