On April 18, 2017 local time, China Merchants Group Li Jianhong met in Hong Kong with Chendong, Deputy Director-General of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong S.A.R.. CMG Executive Vice President Su Xingang, Assistant President Chu Zongsheng attended the meeting.

Li Jianhong first congratulated Chendong to take his new office on Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong S.A.R. He introduced China Merchants Group aimed to nurture four World Top 500 enterprises and forge three world-class as well as four China leading business units.
