On July 20, 2017 local time, China Merchants Group(CMG) President Li Xiaopeng met in Hong Kong with Zhu Yunlai, former President of China International Capital Corporation (CICC), exchanging ideas about business development and promising cooperation. CMG Assistant President and CMF Chairman Hong Xiaoyuan attended meeting.

Li Xiaopeng welcomed the visit of Zhu Yunlai who shared great reputation in investment banking industry. He then gave introductions about CMG business performance, with total assets, revenues and profits nearly 7 trillion, 500 billion and 111.2 billion respectively as well as the participation on national strategies, namely "One Belt and One Road", "Free Trade Zone", "Yangtze River Economic Belt", "Coordinated Development among Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei" and etc.. Business sectors, such as bank and toll roads, has good cooperations with CICC. Li is looking forward to expanding cooperation to more fields. Zhu Yunlai regards CMG as an important strategic partner of CICC and is very impressive about layouts on the "Belt and Road" of CMG.
