On August 16, 2017 local time, China Merchants Group(CMG) Chairman Li Jianhong met in Headquarter Hong Kong with Gong Zheng, Governor of Shandong Province, exchanging ideas with each other. CMG Executive Vice President Sun Chengming, Hu Jianhua, Deng Renjie and Assistant President Hong Xiaoyuan attended the meeting. Later, Cooperation Agreement between CMG and Qingdao Municipality has been signed.
