The annual evaluation on the construction of the entrepreneurship and innovation demonstration bases organized by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) came to an end in recent days. China Merchants Group's base construction was again well recognized, ranking second in the enterprise category.

In late 2019, NDRC commissioned the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) to carry out an annual evaluation of the 120 entrepreneurship and innovation demonstration bases across the country as well as conducted a comprehensive assessment of each demonstration base's three-year construction tasks. Recently, the results of the evaluation were formally issued after being reviewed by the State Council. The construction of the Group's demonstration base was fully acknowledged by experts from all walks of life in the evaluation group, ranking second among the 28 enterprise bases with a score of 84.8.
