On July 23, China Merchants Group held the eighth meeting of the second Board of Directors through video conferencing. Group Chairman Miao Jianmin entrusted Group President Hu Jianhua to preside over the meeting on his behalf.

In accordance with relevant regulations, four proposals were approved unanimously with deliberation and votes from all participating Directors. The meeting also notified the changes in the Board of Directors of China Merchants Group as well as heard the report on the Group's financial budget implementation for the first half of 2020, the forecast report on its completion of the whole year, the Group's work in the first half of 2020 and the approaches for work in the second half of the year.
