On July 25, Group Chairman Miao Jianmin met with Duan Guosheng, Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Taikang Insurance Group (Taikang Insurance). Zhou Song, CFO of China Merchants Group, attended the meeting.

Miao Jianmin said that Taikang Insurance has always been an essential partner of China Merchants Group and has played a critical supporting role in several major capital operations and debt financing projects. Although affected by the macro economy in the first half of the year that the operating pressure of some of the Group's business sectors has increased in the short-term, from the overall and long-term perspective, all sectors are operating with stable cash flow, standardised management and low investment risks. He hoped that the two parties would further establish a closer cooperative relationship. Duan Guosheng introduced that Taikang Insurance and China Merchants Group had jointly conducted a number of significant cooperation since 2015. With an eye toward the future, he hoped that both parties would further strengthen cooperation and achieve greater development results.
