2020-08-05

On August 5, China Merchants Group's emergency working group of the prevention and control of COVID-19 held the twenty-fifth meeting. Group Chairman Miao Jianmin, head of the emergency working group, presided over the meeting. Group President Hu Jianhua, deputy head of the emergency working group, as well as members of the working group attended the meeting.

The meeting pointed out that the domestic pressure of the "prevention of imported cases and resurgence of the coronavirus" was still high, and the epidemic continued to spread overseas and showed a tendency of spreading throughout entire Hong Kong. The meeting stressed that in the face of the severe epidemic situation in Hong Kong, the Group's units in Hong Kong must insist on putting employees' lives and health first, and strictly follow the established work arrangements to further strengthen epidemic prevention and control.
