China Merchants Group holds 2021 mid-year work conference

On August 12, China Merchants Group held the 2021 mid-year work conference. In the first half of the year, the Group scientifically coordinated epidemic prevention and control, as well as production and operation, maintained a steady and sound trend of growth. The Group achieved an operating income of 427 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.3%, a net profit of 78.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 30.5%, and total assets of over 11 trillion yuan. In the 2020 performance evaluation results of central SOEs recently announced by the SASAC, the Group has been awarded A Grade for 17 consecutive years. In the 2021 Fortune Global 500 list, the Group and China Merchants Bank again entered and rose to 163 and 162, respectively.
