On September 4, China Merchants Group and China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Beijing. Under the agreement, both parties will adhere to the principles of openness, fairness, complementary advantages, mutual benefit, market orientation, and long-term stable collaboration. By leveraging their respective strengths, the two sides will engage in strategic cooperation across sectors including transportation and logistics, energy and chemical products, engineering equipment and inspection certification, comprehensive finance, and non-fuel businesses.
