The inaugural awards ceremony for the China Merchants Belt and Road Scholarship Presentation Ceremony was held on September 17 at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, established through a donation by China Merchants Foundation. Four students from South Korea, Rwanda, Kyrgyzstan, and Malaysia received the Admission Scholarship.

The scholarship program supports outstanding students from countries and regions along the Belt and Road, pursuing master's degrees at PolyU's Business School, offering both Admission Scholarships and Academic Achievement Scholarships upon Graduation.
