On the morning of July 22, 2016 local time, China Merchants Group Chairman Mr. Li Jianhong met with ZPMC Chairman Mr. Song Hailiang, exchanging views on the industry's transformation and upgrading.

Mr. Song Hailiang stated that the overall economy situation at present is declining yet various kinds of transformation and upgrading measurements are implemented by ZPMC, from design and research to management and service. "We aims to be automatic,China-create, technology-oriented and software-guided to open a 4.0 industrialized era",said Mr. Song Hailiang. He also pointed out CMG and ZPMC should continue joining hands to strengthen cooperation in terms of terminals and marine industries.  

Mr. Li Jianhong appreciated ZPMC's transformation and upgrading measurements. The heavy manufactory industry should seek for sustainable development in the economy declining period. The marine industry of CMG also faced thedifficult condition, but the delivery rate of ship-repairing and ship-building still remained 100%. There are potential cooperation among port automation, marine industry and advanced manufacture between CMG and ZPMC.
