On August 16, 2016 local time, CMG President Li Xiaopeng attended and delivered a speech in Singapore Regional Business Forum. More than 500 representatives from 38 countries and regions attended the meeting.

Mr. Li Xiaopeng introduced the history and business of China Merchants Development. Responding to "One Belt and One Road" policy, CMG played an active role in overseas investment, especially the comprehensive business model creating job opportunities and benefiting regional economy. As a diversified state-owned enterprise, CMG is able to promote the sustainable advancement in terms of port development,financial service,electronic commerce and etc.

Mr Li Zhaoxing also addressed a speech, stating the core of "One Belt and One Road" is in line with the spirit of Chinese diplomacy. Insisting on "win-win" principle, Chinese government aims to develop with countries dotting in "One Belt and One Road". Mr. Chen Xiaodong emphasized that Singapore have huge potential areas for cooperation with China.
