On August 29, 2016 local time, CMG President met in Hong Kong with Jiang Xianzhou, president of China Construction Bank(Asia), exchanging ideas about enhancing cooperation.

Li Xiaopeng first welcomed the visit of Jiang Xianzhou and introduced the business performance and strategic direction. He also said China Construction Bank and China Construction Bank(Asia) constantly shared mutual trust with CMG. CMG side is willing to open dialogue about the extension of business in RMB Offshore and cross-border settlement in Pilot Free Trade Zone with China Construction Bank and China Construction Bank(Asia).

Jiang Xianzhou expressed gratitude of the support from CMG and introduced the main business sectors and performance of China Construction Bank(Asia). He also pointed out that China Construction Bank(Asia) aimed to optimize service, so as to offer CMG more quality financial services. In the talk, two side discussed the issue about exchange rate mechanism and overseas strategies, with the consensus on the impetus of wider cooperation.
