On September 6, 2016 local time, CMG Chairman Li Jianhong met in Hong Kong with Han Liming, Mayor of Nan Tong.

Li Jianhong recognized the smooth cooperation with Nan Tong in terms of offshore engineering and funds. He then introduced the performance of China Merchants Industry Holdings. Currently, Offshore industry has based in Shekou for ship repairing and in Nan Tong for manufacturing. In face of mounting downwards of offshore engineering industry, CMG also had robust performance due to the advanced strategic planning and lower cost operation. Nan Tong shares a variety of port resources. In parallel, CMG has fruitful experience in port development and operation, which have areas for deepen cooperation.

Chairman Li gave an introduction about the transformation from three main business sectors to three main platforms. Han Liming said that Nan Tong aimed to develop in cities group, tourism belt and industrial points.
