On September 8, 2016 local time, CMG Chairman Li Jianhong met in Hong Kong with Lei Hongjin, Chairman of Sichuan Transportation Investment Group.

Li Jianhong first introduced that the fully strategic cooperation with Sichuan Province in terms of free trade zone, industry park, transportation, logistics, finance are under negotiation. Chairman Li pointed out transportation industry was one of the major business sectors of CMG. The reorganization in highway business sector is another significantly strategic industry planning in line with the state-owned company reform. He encouraged Sichuan Transportation＆Investment Group not only to cooperate in highway sectors, but also the upstream and downstream businesses, jointly building world-class highway investors and operators.

Lei Hongjin congratulated on the robust performance and appreciated the "Go Global" strategy of CMG. As a comprehensive transportation state-owned company, Sichuan Transportation Investment Group have many talents in express highway,ports and airports. He hoped that two sides can seek for more cooperation in port, logistics,industry integrated finance and overseas projects.
