On November 25, 2016 local time, China Merchants Group President Li Xiaopeng met in Hong Kong with Lu Lin, Deputy Mayor of Dalian, exchanging ideas about cooperation in port, free trade zone and finance. CMG Executive Vice President Hu Jianhua attended the meeting.

Li Xiaopeng welcomed the visit of Lu Lin and said CMG developed fast even in the economic downward background with profit nearly 90 billion increasing 28% compared to the same period of the last year. Currently, CMG plans to build a full-chain port industry. Li also expressed gratitude to the support of Dalian government and willingness to join hands to tackle solutions to port or related business development. Lu Lin hoped to seek for more cooperation in free trade zone, finance and cruise homeport with Dalian. After the meeting, they witnessed the cooperation agreement signing ceremony between two subsidiaries.
