On December 6, 2016 local time, CMG Chairman Li Jianhong met in Hong Kong with Mr. Tung Chee Chen, President of OOIL, exchanging ideas about current overseas shipping situation and future cooperation areas. CMG Executive Vice President Hu Jianhua attended the meeting.

Li Jianhong recognized the pioneering status of OOCL in containers transportation, especially in information services. CMG is on the process of transforming into three platforms from three business sectors. Li also shared information about VLCC, dry bulk transportations, financial sectors and health industry. Tung Chee Chen held the confidence about shipping industry because "One Belt and One Road" can mitigate the downward trends with building new investment environment.
