On December 12, China Merchants Group Chairman Li Jianhong met in Beijing with Yang Chuantang and Li Xiaopeng, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Minister of Transport of the People's Republic of China respectively. CMG Executive Vice President Deng Renjie attended the meeting.

Li Jianhong expressed the gratitude to the support on China Merchants Group and delivered work report about group's development and business performance in 2016. He also added the strategic plan about group thirteenth "five-year" project. Yang Chuantang and Li Xiaopeng recognized the outstanding performance of CMG and looked forward the bigger role of Group in national economy and strategy.
