On December 29 morning, 2016 local time, China Merchants Group President Li Xiaopeng met in Hong Kong with Yuan Changqing, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Agricultural Bank of China. CMG CFO Fu Gangfeng attended the meeting.

Li Xiaopeng welcomed the visit of Yuan Changqing and expressed gratitudes to the support of Agricultural Bank of China, especially the high efficiency of ABC in support CMG's loan-deposit needs and Qichun's Poverty Alleviation Program. He also recognized that ABC prudently control financial crisis and practically convey the spirit of Central Economic Work Conference. Yuan Changqing said ABC has continued to rise even in the economic downward trend because of quality clientele, such as China Merchants Group. ABC is expected to join hands with CMG to expand businesses in "The Belt and The Road" in the following year.
