On December 22, 2016 local time, China Merchants Group Li Jianhong met in Hong Kong with Chen Shaoqun, Chairman of Shenzhen Duty-Free Group, exchanging ideas about future cooperation areas and mechanisms. CMG Executive Vice President Sun Chengming and Assistant President Hong Xiaoyuan attended the meeting.

Li Jianhong introduced the robust performance of CMG in the beginning of "Thirteenth5-year plan". Currently, CMG owns trillion-scale asset system and keeps continuous rising trend. Hopefully, two sides can work together to expand businesses internationally under the background of structural supply-side reform. Chen Shaoqun said the purpose of this visit was to cooperate with China Merchants Group by using Group strength in "The Belt and The Road", Cruise Homeport, Free Trade Zone and logistics areas.
