On March 21, 2017 local time, China Merchants Group Executive Vice President Deng Renjie signed Co-operation Agreement with HUAWEI Rotating CEO Guo Ping, officially initiating strategic partnership.

According to the agreement, two sides will make full use of their strengths to fully cooperate in terms of infrastructure, industry, finance, "One Belt and One Road" initiative and innovation. A joint innovation center will be also lanched in building Group's industrial ecosystem.
