On March 30, China Merchants Group President Li Xiaopeng met in Hong Kong with Yu Xubo, CEO of COFCO, exchanging ideas about deepening future cooperations. China Merchants Group Executive Vice President Su Xingang attended the meeting.

Li Xiaopeng said China Merchants was born to venture the seas, gradually developing shipping and port as Group two main business sectors, which shares great connections with COFCO. Currently, we own a wide range of fleets, especially bulk cargo ships for foodstuff transportation. Yu Xubo said COFCO aimed to expand internationally, which needs to cooperate with CMG that expertises in shipping, logistics and overseas investment. He also showed the willingness to join hands with CMG to build a full-chain cooperation relationship in the future.
