On the morning of September 28, 2017, Li Jianhong, chairman of China Merchants Group, was invited to come to Party School of the Central Committee of C.P.C to share his thoughts about SOE reforms and exchange in-depth views with nearly 70 trainees. Zhen Zhanmin, Vice President of Party School of the Central Committee of C.P.C presided over the class.

Li Jianhong briefed the information of China Merchants Group, the focus on recent reform and innovation practice. Li shared specific cases and practices of group in the strategy leading, resource integration, "The Belt and Road" Initiative, integration of industry and finance, innovation and transformation, market mechanism. In the interactive communication, many trainees put questions, including China Merchants Group strategy, strategic positioning of Renhe Insurance, selection of talents, risk management, resources integration, all answered by Li Jianhong.
