On September 26, 2017 local time, China Merchants Group(CMG) Chairman Li Jianhong met in Hong Kong with Chen Zhenning, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province. CMG Executive Vice President Sun Chengming attended the meeting.

Li Jianhong welcomed Chen Zhenning's visit and briefed the  development of China Merchants Group. Total assets is more than 7 trillion, ranking first in SOEs. The main industries of the Group are all in Jiangsu province, with Group total assets in Jiangsu raking forefront compared to other provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions. Li Jianhong also introduced offshore manufacturing of Jiangsu Nantong, with the vision to build world-class cruises.
