CMG makes an additional donation of 60 Million Yuan

At the critical stage of fighting against the outbreak of novel coronavirus, besides endeavouring to ensure the prevention and control of epidemic and the resumption of work and production, China Merchants Group has also actively undertaken the social responsibility of being a state-owned-enterprise, continuing to provide full support to areas where the epidemic situation is particularly severe.
As of February 14, the Group's subsidiaries, including China Merchants Bank, China Merchants Securities, Bosera Funds and China Merchants Fund have donated over 210 million yuan to the city of Wuhan. China Merchants Charitable Foundation has provided 1.45 million yuan's worth of free logistics services to all sectors of the community, including a total of 3,862 cubic metres, 2,302 tons of anti-epidemic materials such as masks, protective clothing and goggles and 1.91 million pieces of anti-epidemic materials with a total value of nearly 10 million yuan acquired through channels at home and abroad. In addition, China Merchants Life Insurance has donated nearly 1.3 million yuan's worth of insurance to those medical workers and the Foundation's drivers supporting Wuhan. Today, the Group announced an additional donation of 50 million yuan to China Merchants Charitable Foundation, dedicating to epidemic prevention and control, primarily to support the procurement, logistics and transportation of epidemic prevention materials for Hubei province, as well as an addition donation of 10 million yuan to Wuhan through China Merchants Shekou's Wuhan company. Since the outbreak, China Merchants Shekou has been actively assisting Wuhan in combating the epidemic. Its subsidiary China Merchants Property responded swiftly and participated in the construction of Huoshenshan Hospital and mobile cabin hospitals.
