On February 19, Group President Hu Jianhua inspected and instructed China Merchants Port's epidemic prevention and work resumption, following his previous visit on February 4.

Hu Jianhua heard a report from Zhang Yi, COO and Managing Director of China Merchants Port, on the epidemic prevention and control as well as the current state of work and production resumption. Hu Jianhua expressed recognition for China Merchants Port's reliable and valid measures.  He stressed that China Merchants Port should make good use of government's policies as well as the quick response and resolution mechanism of the anti-epidemic materials' green channel, work actively with port authorities to construct more efficient and convenient port areas, and further elevate core competitiveness. Hu Jianhua also paid a site inspection to China Merchants Bonded Logistics and extended appreciation to the frontline staff. On the day of inspection, its employee attendance rate has reached 80%, and 90% of the clients inside the bonded area have resumed work and production.
