On February 21, Group Chairman Li Jianhong and Group President Hu Jianhua held a high-level coordination meeting of the China-Belarus Industrial Park project with Sinomach's Chairman Zhang Xiaolun through video conferencing.

The meeting heard a report on the China-Belarus Industrial Park's work in 2019 and major tasks of the work plan for 2020. After nearly five years of development and construction, the Park has made substantial progress with the joint promotion of the two groups. As of the end of 2019, the Park has introduced a total of 60 residential enterprises, and the contracted investment has reached 1.16 billion US dollars, which has formed an industrial agglomeration effect and drew widespread attention in the Eurasian region. Leaders of both groups addressed that the China-Belarus Industrial Park is a significant project of the Belt and Road. The two groups will continue to steadily advance the development, construction, operation and management of the Park, actively strive for support at the government level, improve the scientific governance mechanism of sino-foreign equity joint ventures, strictly implement the national epidemic prevention requirements and build the Park into an iconic project of the Belt and Road at an early date.
