Li Jianhong heard a report on China Merchants Hoi Tung's epidemic prevention, work resumption and operation, also inspected Tianjin Institute of Pharmaceutical Research via video system, extending appreciation to those who remained at work. So far, China Merchants Hoi Tung has donated 200,000 masks and 50,000 related medicines to the affected areas with no suspected cases detected. Meanwhile, the company's healthcare segment is stepping up cooperation to produce masks using mugwort as a filter material. Li Jianhong praised China Merchants Hoi Tung for its donation to the affected areas in times of scarcity of supplies. He expressed that the dawn of anti-epidemic is emerging, but the efforts we bring to our work cannot be allowed to wane. He required that the stable resumption of work and production should be ensured under the premise of epidemic prevention and the impact brought by the outbreak on the company's business should be assessed scientifically. China Merchants Hoi Tung should also attempt to turn the crisis into opportunities, as the epidemic may also be a chance to show strengths and achieve breakthroughs in the healthcare industry.
