CMG's emergency working group of NCP prevention and control holds 7th meeting

On February 25, China Merchants Group's emergency working group of the prevention and control of novel coronavirus held the seventh meeting. Group Chairman, Li Jianhong, head of the working group, presided over the meeting. Group President, Hu Jianhua, deputy head of the working group, as well as the Group's leading body (also members of the emergency working group), attended the meeting either in person or through video conferencing.
The meeting conveyed and studied the instructions and relevant documents issued by the higher authorities. The meeting also heard a report given by the working group's office on the recent anti-epidemic work. Full recognition was given to the anti-epidemic efforts made by all units within the Group from the previous stage. For the next stage, the meeting stressed that all units should unify the thoughts and actions into the spirit of higher authorities' speeches and instructions; precisely coordinate the strengthening of epidemic prevention and control with the orderly promotion of resumption of work and production; strengthen organization leadership throughout the entire process of epidemic prevention and control and resumption of production. Besides, the Group should give full play to its leading role as a backbone enterprise in the capital and industrial chains' upstream and downstream, firmly hold onto the annual goals with further intensified efforts to improve quality and increase efficiency, closely track and analyze the impact of epidemic on industries, carry out early research and judgement into possible market opportunities after the epidemic ahead of time, and make further contributions to economic and social development with stronger and more effective measures.
