CMG holds meeting on digitization work

On March 5, CMG held a meeting on digitization through video-conferencing. Group President Hu Jianhua presided over the meeting. Executive Vice President Wang Hong attended the meeting. Chief Digital Officer Zhang Jian reported on the Group's digital work amid the epidemic recently.
The meeting summarized the work carried out by the digital work teams during the outbreak. The Group's departments, such as the General Office, Human Resources Department and Financial Department, sorted out anti-epidemic related demands timely and organized the application of the online health reporting system promptly. The digital centre together with China Merchants Fintech swiftly completed the optimization of network and other infrastructures. The digitization teams of multiple subsidiaries made full use of online development to ensure that the demands raised can be put into operation as soon as possible. Having heard the report, Hu Jianhua expressed that a large number of IT staff and digital operation teams gave up their time for rest and worked overtime amid the holiday and epidemic, who have made outstanding contributions to the Group's epidemic prevention and control, for which the Group extended great appreciation. He further stressed that the outbreak is a major test for the Group, and many unique industrial demands, commercial activities and challenges will emerge in all walks of life. The entire Group should think deeply on it. As for the major tasks of digital work in the following stage, the meeting pointed out that the outbreak has further strengthened determination to accelerate the Group's digitization strategy.
