CMG's emergency working group of COVID-19 prevention and control holds 11th meeting

On March 25, China Merchants Group's emergency working group on the prevention and control of Covid-19 held the eleventh meeting. The meeting conveyed and studied the instructions and documents recently issued by the higher authorities. The meeting called for the strengthening of overseas units' organizational leadership and corresponding measures for anti-epidemic. Group Chairman, Li Jianhong, head of the working group, presided over the meeting. Group President, Hu Jianhua, deputy head of the working group, as well as the Group's leading body (also members of the emergency working group), attended the meeting either in person or through video conferencing.
The meeting heard reports on the Group's recent anti-epidemic work from the working group's office as well as overseas units' epidemic prevention and control situation from the overseas business department, respectively. The meeting stated that, nationwide, the situation is moving steadily in a positive direction and life and work gradually returns to normal, while the outbreak continues to spread worldwide and Hong Kong reaches a grim situation. The meeting put forward three requirements for units based in Hong Kong and overseas. Firstly, to strengthen the organizational leadership of epidemic prevention and control of overseas units. Secondly, to ensure the implementation of anti-epidemic measures for overseas units. Thirdly, to attach great importance to the epidemic prevention and control for units based in Hong Kong.
