On March 31, CMG's overseas epidemic prevention and control emergency management working group held the first meeting. Hu Jianhua, Group President and head of the working group, presided over the meeting. Li Yadong, Assistant President and deputy head of the working group, attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the Department of Overseas Business/International Cooperation conveyed relevant requirements issued by higher authorities on central SOEs strengthening overseas epidemic prevention and control, as well as outlined major tasks of the Group's overseas epidemic prevention and control implementation plan. On behalf of Group Chairman Li Jianhong, Hu Jianhua extended his gratitude and regards to the frontline employees and their families. He fully acknowledged the Group's overseas epidemic prevention and control work in the previous stage. Currently, the Group has more than 6,500 overseas employees distributed in 52 countries. So far, there have not been any known cases reported, which did not come easily. Given the fast-spreading coronavirus overseas, Hu Jianhua required that all units should continue to stay vigilant and make adequate predictions of the upcoming risks and challenges. All units should contribute to the overall situation of epidemic prevention and control in an attitude of being responsible to the employees, the companies and the country, and strive for the final victory in anti-epidemic.
