Hu Jianhua inspected the Group's assistance programme in Xinjiang

On April 26, Group President Hu Jianhua led a team to inspect the Group's assistance programme in Xinjiang and visited Sinotrans & CSC Xinjiang Co. Ltd. and China Merchants Bank Urumqi Branch. Group CFO Zhou Song participated in the inspection.

At the Sinotrans & CSC Xinjiang, Hu Jianhua fully recognized its efforts for safeguarding state-owned assets and ensuring stable operation. He emphasized that poverty alleviation, disposal of zombie enterprises and enterprises with special difficulties, and social management of retirees are the top priorities in the near future. Based on consolidating the effectiveness, Xinjiang company should take multiple measures, draw up a reverse schedule and adopt precise measures to ensure the completion of tasks.  

At the China Merchants Bank Urumqi Branch, on behalf of Group Chairman Li Jianhong, Hu Jianhua extended gratitude to the employees and gave full recognition to the Branch's business development since its establishment 19 years ago. He hoped that the Xinjiang Branch could give full play of its unique advantages to create opportunities for cooperation, strengthen the integration of industry and finance within the Group, and contribute to the battle against poverty.
