On April 28, China Merchants Group held the sixth meeting of the second Board of Directors by means of communication. China Merchants Group's Annual Audit Report of 2019 was unanimously approved in written deliberation and votes by all Directors.

The meeting stated that the Group's various operating indicators in 2019 far exceeded the set targets comprehensively, with a record-high operating performance, a year-on-year increase in profitability, continued improvement in industrial cash flow and a stable capital structure, achieving a balanced development of quality, efficiency and scale. The meeting called for close attention paid to the impact of COVID-19 on the various business sectors of the Group, avoidance of chain reaction caused by local risk events in the short term, and a study on the fundamental impact of COVID-19 about globalization, industrial layout and business models at the strategic level, so as to form a long-term response plan for transformation and development in the formulation of strategic planning.
