On April 30, Group President Hu Jianhua inspected China Merchants Venture's epidemic prevention and control as well as work recovery. Chief Digital Officer, Director of Financial Business Division, Zhang Jian attended the inspection.

Hu Jianhua heard the report given by Lv Kejian, General Manager of China Merchants Venture, on epidemic prevention and control, resumption of work and production, and innovation incubation of China Merchants Startup. He also extended gratitude to the innovation enterprises invested by China Merchants Venture in Wuhan through voice call. Hu Jianhua fully recognized the achievements made by China Merchants Venture and China Merchants Startup in terms of anti-epidemic as well as the innovation work since the establishment. He stressed that China Merchants Venture shoulders the innovation development mission entrusted by the Group. Through four years of innovation work, it has accumulated rich innovation experience and resources and achieved steady development. Zhang Jian hopes that China Merchants Venture, as an essential part of the Group's digital construction, will provide more profound and novel solutions for the Group's digital development from multiple aspects, business model innovation for example.
