China Merchants Group's emergency working group of the prevention and control of COVID-19 held the eighteenth meeting. The meeting conveyed the instructions recently issued by the higher authorities. Group Chairman Li Jianhong, head of the emergency working group, presided over the meeting. Group President Hu Jianhua, deputy head of the emergency working group, as well as the Group's leading body (also members of the working group), attended the meeting through videoconferencing.

The meeting heard the report given by the working group's office on recent anti-epidemic work as well as put forward three requirements. First, resolutely win the war of overseas epidemic prevention and control, which is the top priority of the current epidemic work; Second, actively respond to the third wave of possible outbreaks. The epidemic situation has a rapid upward trend in some of the areas with poor medical conditions. The Group's critical units and projects in these areas should actively follow up the epidemic situation and draw up contingency plans for possible extreme cases; Third, ensure work and production safety during the "Two Sessions".
