On May 20, through videoconferencing, Group President Hu Jianhua extended greetings to employees of key overseas agencies such as China Merchants Port Brazil TCP project, China-Belarus Industrial Park/China-Belarus Commerce & Logistics Park Project, Sinotrans Angola and China Merchant Energy Shipping Singapore respectively, as well as listened to the reports of epidemic prevention and control work given by heads of overseas agencies.

Hu Jianhua fully recognised the positive results achieved by the overseas agencies in the previous stage of epidemic prevention and control and extended gratitude to overseas employees on behalf of Group Chairman Li Jianhong. He said that the Group always attached great importance to overseas epidemic prevention and control and emphasised that the safety of employees is of the utmost importance. Hu Jianhua also expressed great concern about the physical and mental health of overseas employees. He required that the heads of member companies and overseas agencies should help employees relieve stress and implement the Group's requirements and apply domestic experience for anti-epidemic work in combination with the local situation.
