On July 17, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) held a half-year video conference of Central SOEs top executives. The meeting summarized the work in the first half of 2020 and deployed tasks for the second half of the year. The meeting also announced the results of the assessment of 2019 central SOEs top executives operating performance. China Merchants Group is one of the eight central SOEs that have been awarded the Level-A performance evaluation for 16 consecutive years ever since the SASAC launched the assessment. Group Chairman Miao Jianmin, Group President Hu Jianhua, Group top management, outside directors and heads of related departments attended the video conference in Beijing, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
