On July 10–11, Shi Dai, President of China Merchants Group, attended China Maritime Forum and Opening Ceremony of China Maritime Day in Boao, Hainan, and delivered a keynote speech.

In her address, Shi Dai emphasized that the global shipping industry is undergoing a profound transformation driven by green and digital intelligence initiatives, reshaping maritime logistics and redrawing the world’s shipping map. She stressed that Chinese shipping enterprises must embrace innovation ("advance with the new") and foster collaboration ("unite through integration") to lead industry trends and secure competitive advantages.

As part of its commitment to building a world-class enterprise, China Merchants Group has fully integrated green development principles into its operations, establishing a comprehensive carbon peak and neutrality action plan covering low-carbon shipping and ports. The Group is also accelerating the development of a "Digital & Smart CMG," creating a unified digital infrastructure across all business sectors. Furthermore, it remains steadfast in promoting open cooperation, exemplified by hosting the World Maritime Merchants Forum in Hong Kong for four consecutive years.
