On August 20, China Merchants Group and China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Beijing. According to the agreement, the two sides will fully leverage their respective strengths to deepen collaboration in areas including shipping, clean energy application, oil and gas storage-transportation-marketing, offshore engineering products and services, technological innovation, industrial parks, and comprehensive finance, with the aim of achieving complementary advantages and mutual success.
