China Merchants Group and the Danzhou Municipal Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shenzhen. The signing was witnessed by Shi Dai, President of China Merchants Group, and Zou Guang, Vice Governor of Hainan Province and Party Secretary of both Danzhou City and the Yangpu Economic Development Zone. The agreement was signed by Jiang Tiefeng, Executive Vice President of China Merchants Group, and Chen Yang, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Danzhou.

Under the agreement, the two parties will adhere to the principles of openness, fairness, complementary advantages, mutual benefit, market orientation, and long-term stability. They will leverage their respective strengths to collaborate in areas such as shipping and logistics, urban development and construction, and comprehensive finance.
