From October 27 to 30, over 400 guests from more than 30 countries and regions gathered for the Annual Conference of Financial Street Forum 2025, engaging in in-depth dialogues around its theme “Global Financial Development in an Era of Innovation, Transformation and Restructuring.” Miao Jianmin, Chairman of China Merchants Group, attended the closing ceremony and delivered a keynote speech.

He emphasized that the world is undergoing accelerated evolution amid unprecedented changes unseen in a century, with the international economic and trade landscape experiencing historic restructuring and the globe entering a new phase of turbulence and transformation. To address headwinds against economic globalization, more mutually beneficial cooperation practices are needed; to unblock international trade cycles, resilient and efficient logistics networks are essential; and to support global economic and trade growth, precise and inclusive financial supply is required.
