Hu Jianhua attends signing ceremony of strategic cooperation agreement between China Merchants Port, Alibaba and Ant Financial

On May 28, China Merchants Port, Alibaba and Ant Financial signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement through the innovative form of "blockchain signing" in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Hangzhou. Group President Hu Jianhua, Executive Vice President Wang Hong, Deng Renjie and Chief Digital Officer Zhang Jian, Alibaba Group Vice President Zhong Tianhua and Ant Financial Chairman Jing Xiandong attended the signing ceremony.
At the ceremony, Hu Jianhua stated that this cooperation is between a central SOE and a private enterprise, between online and offline and combined traditional industries and emerging industries. He hoped that the three parties would integrate port services, internet, big data and financial services, continue to innovate service models, gradually build an open and interconnected digital port logistics ecosystem, and implement the strategy of building China's strength in transportation. Meanwhile, the three parties should jointly provide support and services for world trade facilitation, carry out comprehensive, multi-disciplinary and in-depth cooperation in the countries along the "Belt and Road", and jointly build a community of responsibilities, interests and shared future.
This cooperation will integrate the financial technology and industrial resource advantages of Alibaba, Ant Financial and China Merchants Port, combine the business scenarios of trade and port logistics chain, establish a novel and open trade logistics + financial business alliance, and jointly expand the business ecology to achieve scenario interconnection, closed-loop and service innovation.
