On February 4, Group Chairman Miao Jianmin and Group President Hu Jianhua met with Huang Min, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, member of the Party Leadership Group of Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, and Secretary of CPC Work Committee of the Authority of Qianhai Cooperation Zone. Executive Vice President Li Baian and Assistant President Hong Xiaoyuan attended the meeting.

Miao Jianmin said that China Merchants Group had been actively implementing the cooperation agreement. He hoped that Shenzhen government would give strong support as always and both sides would work together to promote the implementation of the cooperation projects, accelerate the attraction of highly-skilled talents and better serve the development of Shenzhen, the cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong and the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Huang Min introduced that China Merchants Group and Shenzhen shared a high degree of consensus on the development of Qianhai. He hoped that China Merchants Group would scale up efforts to cooperate with the Qianhai Authority on key projects, jointly promote the innovation of mechanisms and build Qianhai into a new benchmark for Hong Kong-Shenzhen cooperation.
