Multi-purpose Heavy Lift Vessel "Pacific prospect" Heads its Voyage

On May 16, the world's largest multi-purpose heavy lift vessel "Pacific prospect" heads from Yangzhou Port to Australia, which was fully loaded with 28 sets of VESTAS onshore wind turbine towers and a total of nearly 62,000 cubic meters of wind power equipment.

This series of vessel are designed by Shanghai Merchant Ship Design and Research Institute (SDARI) and built by Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) Co., Ltd. Its lifting capacity reaches 300 tons, equipped with large-diameter propellers, low-speed G-type machines and other energy-saving equipment like Fan-cap, which meet the international standards of ship energy efficiency design index (EEDI) PHASE 3. The ship is equipped with an energy efficiency management system and will also be with the IMP management system pioneered by CMES Shipping, which is the latest generation of environmentally friendly, economical and energy-saving multi-purpose heavy-lift ships.
