Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal and Shekou Cruise Home Port held a ceremony to celebrate the resumption of service

At 8:20 a.m. on January 8, the whistle finally sounded at the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal, which has been silent for 3 years and 1065 days, as the high-speed passenger ship operated by China Merchants Xunlong, a subsidiary of China Merchants Shekou, docked in Hong Kong and the first batch of passengers departing from Shenzhen by ship arrived in Hong Kong, announcing the official resumption of the Shekou to and from Hong Kong Sheung Wan route.
In the first phase, there are 14 daily flights to and from Hong Kong Airport, with a one-way journey of about 30 minutes; 4 daily flights in and out of Shekou to and from Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, with a voyage of about 50 minutes. According to the flight plan, it is expected to meet the daily demand of 5,000 passengers for customs clearance.
