17 December 2021 – CMG President Hu Jianhua met with Lei Fanpei, Chairman of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, and attended the signing ceremony for shipping business contracts with China State Shipbuilding Corporation. Hu Jianhua said, China State Shipbuilding Corporation and China Merchants Group have maintained close business cooperation, and in the current context of a global shift toward green and low-carbon development and China’s accelerating efforts to become a strong shipbuilding country, both sides should, with the future in mind and with a focus on building high-end green ships and moving Dalian Shipyard to Taiping Bay, deepen their cooperation in an all-round way to contribute to China’s drive to take its shipping industry to the world's highest level.
